Moaning Myrtle is a ghost who haunts one of the girl’s bathrooms in Hogwarts castle. She was a Ravenclaw student and is described as having lank hair, pimples and thick glasses. She was killed by the Basilisk from the Chamber of Secrets and her murder was used to create the Diary Horcrux. She gets easily offended and does not like to be reminded that she is dead.
